The Western Union Global Fellowship Program is a fully-funded, virtual leadership and venture acceleration fellowship designed for entrepreneurs and changemakers from refugee, marginalized, or forcibly displaced communities. It is powered by Watson Institute and funded by Western Union. Who Can Apply? Individuals who identify with or support refugee, marginalized, or displaced communities. Entrepreneurs leading nonprofit or for-profit ventures with an existing business model serving underserved populations. Applicants based in or creating impact in: Costa Rica, Argentina, Lithuania, the Philippines, USA, Brazil, Uganda, Nigeria, UK, India, Bangladesh, Mexico, Germany, Colombia, Japan, and Pakistan. What Is Covered? 100% tuition coverage for the program Community development stipend to run a local “Basecamp” workshop Professional pitch development and video recording Training, mentorship, and expert guidance Access to a global impact network Opportunity to present at a virtual summit Eligibility Criteria Must be actively leading a venture or organization with measurable impact.
