The Unite Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships

The Unite Foundation Scholarship provides free university accommodation (including bills) for up to 3 years, including all holiday periods, to support young people who are care-experienced or estranged from their families. The aim is to offer a stable and secure living environment throughout university life, allowing students to focus on their studies and future planning.  Who Can Apply?  You can apply if you are:  25 years old or under  Estranged from your family (i.e., no contact or support from parents) OR are statutory care-experienced (including definitions specific to Scotland)  Starting or currently studying your first undergraduate degree  Eligible for UK home fee status  Enrolled or planning to enrol at one of the Unite Foundation’s partner universities  What Is Covered?  Free year-round accommodation in a Unite Students residence  Utility bills and Wi-Fi included  Accommodation continues through holidays (e.g., Christmas, summer)  Option to stay through the summer after graduation  Ongoing support from the Unite Foundation team, including opportunities for employment and social engagement  How to Apply  Read the Application Guidance 2025/26 carefully  Complete the online application form  Prov...
