Swansea University International Excellence Scholarship

The SUIPRES Scholarship is a competitive tuition fee reduction scheme for international students applying for eligible PhD or Professional Doctorate programmes at Swansea University. It supports outstanding candidates who demonstrate academic and research excellence.  Who Can Apply?  International students (eligible for non-UK tuition fees).  Applicants for PhD or Professional Doctorate programmes at Swansea University (not current, returning, or transfer students).  Applicants not fully sponsored by a third party.  Not open for master’s-level courses.  What Is Covered?  Covers the difference between International and UK (Home) tuition fees.  Successful scholars pay the UK tuition fee (£4,786 for 2024/25), which increases annually by ~3%.  Note: Scholarship does not cover living expenses or the UK tuition fee itself.
