The International Higher Education Scholarship Program, offered by the TaiwanICDF, provides fully funded scholarships for outstanding students from partner countries to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Taiwan. Through collaborations with top Taiwanese universities, the program supports global talent development across multiple academic fields.

Who Can Apply?
Students from countries listed as Eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship, who meet both their home country’s requirements and the partner university’s admission criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a citizen of a country on the TaiwanICDF Eligible Country List

• Must not be a national of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or an overseas compatriot student

• Must meet admission requirements of the selected partner university

• Must meet visa and residency requirements for Taiwan (Resident Visa—Code FS and Alien Resident Certificate)

• Scholarship may be revoked if visa requirements are not met

How to Apply:

• Choose a program offered by a TaiwanICDF partner university

• Apply online through the TaiwanICDF Scholarship Application System

• Submit required documents: transcripts, CV, passport copy, study plan, recommendation letters, and university admission documents

• Apply separately to the partner university for admission
