Portugal Government Scholarship

The DGES Higher Education Scholarship helps students in Portugal who have limited financial resources by covering part of their higher education costs. It is awarded annually and paid in 10 monthly instalments. For PhD students, scholarships are awarded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).
