The NCCR Automation Fellowship offers international master’s students, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to conduct short-term research stay (up to 6 months) at one of the Swiss institutions affiliated with the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Automation. The program aims to foster international collaboration and interdisciplinarity in the field of automation and control theory Who can apply? Be enrolled in a Master's, PhD, or postdoctoral program. No prior study or work experience at the prospective host institution in Switzerland. What is covered? A contribution towards the increased living costs in Switzerland, calculated based on ETH Zurich's estimated study and living costs for international students, considering individual needs and additional sources of income. Project-related expenses, such as travel costs to NCCR Automation meetings, covered by the supervising Principal Investigator (PI). Note: Visa application costs and materials of enduring value (e.g., laptops, books) are not covered.
