National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic

The National Scholarship Programme (NSP) of the Slovak Republic supports the mobility of international students, PhD students, university teachers, researchers, and artists for scholarship stays at Slovak higher education institutions and research organizations. Established in 2005 and funded by the Ministry of Education, Research, Development, and Youth of the Slovak Republic, the NSP aims to promote international collaboration and academic exchange.   Who can apply?  Students: International students enrolled in universities outside Slovakia who are:   Pursuing a master's degree (second level of higher education), or   Have completed at least 2.5 years of university studies in the same or a similar study program.    Accepted by a Slovak higher education institution for an academic mobility to study in Slovakia.    PhD Students: International PhD students whose higher education or scientific training takes place outside Slovakia and who are accepted by a Slovak higher education institution or research organization for an academic mobility to study or conduct research/artistic activities in Slovakia.   University Teachers, Researchers, and Artists: International university teachers, researchers, and artists who are invited for a teaching, research, or artistic stay by a Slovak institution with a valid certificate of eligibility to carry out researc...
