Merit Scholarships for International Students at Universität Hamburg

Universität Hamburg offers merit scholarships to support outstanding international students and doctoral researchers across all subjects and degree levels. These scholarships enable recipients to fully concentrate on their studies and further develop their skills.     Who Can Apply?  International students who:   Have been enrolled in their degree program at Universität Hamburg for at least two semesters (for bachelor’s students) or one semester (for master’s and doctoral students).   Are not German citizens.   Are not eligible for the federal student loan scheme (BAföG)  Demonstrate good to excellent academic performance.   Are socially committed and actively involved in an international context  What Is Covered?  Monthly stipend of up to €930. The maximum funding period is three years, with the scholarship initially awarded for 12 months and the possibility of extension upon application.     Eligibility Criteria  Demonstrate financial need, with earned income not exceeding the scholarship rate.    Not receive simultaneous funding from other sources.   How to Apply?  Complete and submit the online application form during the application period.   Required Documents:  ...
