The Max Planck Institute of Infection Biology (MPIIB) in Berlin invites Bachelor’s and Master’s students from around the world to apply for its Fully Funded Summer Internship 2026. This 3-month international program offers young scientists hands-on research experience in biology, medicine, biochemistry, epidemiology, and related fields under the supervision of expert researchers at one of Germany’s leading scientific institutions.

Who Can Apply?

• Open to students of all nationalities.

• Must be currently enrolled in a university program (Bachelor’s or Master’s).

• Must have completed at least 4 semesters (2 years) of undergraduate studies.

• Have a strong academic background in a relevant field (biology, medicine, biochemistry, epidemiology, etc.).

• Proficient in English.

What’s Covered?

• Monthly stipend: €1,300 for living expenses.

• Travel costs: Reimbursement for round-trip travel to Berlin.

• Free accommodation near the Institute.

• Visa support for selected applicants.
