The JJ/WBGSP is a fully funded scholarship for mid-career professionals from developing countries to pursue a master’s degree in development-related fields. The program supports studies at 41 selected universities in the U.S., Europe, Japan, Africa, and Oceania, with a strong focus on leadership, policy, and infrastructure. Who Can Apply? Citizens of World Bank member developing countries who: Are employed in a development-related role Have a proven commitment to advancing their country’s development Intend to return home after completing their degree What Is Covered? Full tuition Monthly living allowance Round-trip airfare $600 travel allowance per trip Basic medical insurance from the host university The scholarship covers the duration of the graduate program or up to two years, whichever is shorter.
