Two fully funded Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) positions are open in Dr. Phuong Nguyen’s research group at the Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering, South Dakota State University. The Ph.D. students will work on cutting-edge projects that integrate AI, simulation, GIS, and wearable sensor technologies to enhance construction engineering practices.  Who Can Apply?  Motivated candidates with a Master’s degree in:  Construction Management  Civil Engineering  Or other related engineering disciplines  What is Covered?  The GRA positions offer:  Full funding for graduate studies (typically includes tuition waiver and a monthly stipend)  Hands-on involvement in three funded research projects:  Risk-based analysis for construction material testing and inspections (SDDOT-funded)  AI, GIS, and digital tools for project delivery optimization (SCDOT-funded)  Simulation improvements using wearable physiological sensors (funded by Society for Simulation in Healthcare)  Eligibility Criteria  Academic background:  Master’s degree in a relevant field  Minimum GPA: 3.0  GRE: 150 Verbal, 148 Quantitative  English Proficiency (for international students):  TOEFL: 575 (paper-base...
