Graduate Assistantships at Scsu

St. Cloud State University (SCSU) typically offers over 200 graduate assistantships annually. These academically related employment opportunities are exclusively for graduate students. Assistantships are available as Program Assistants (administrative support), Research Assistants (research collaboration), and Teaching Assistants (classroom work under supervision).  Who can apply?  Eligible applicants must be admitted to the School of Graduate Studies and registered full-time (8 credits per term). This includes international students, U.S. citizens, and U.S. residents in campus-based Master's and Doctoral programs.    Students in online, accelerated Master's programs (MBA, EDAD M.S.), certificate programs, or those with language admissions are not eligible.  What is covered?  Graduate assistants receive a stipend, the amount of which varies based on the hours of assignment and the length of the appointment. They also qualify for in-state tuition rates for graduate-level credits (Master's level rate for all).
