Program: Linguistics The University of Washington's Department of Linguistics is committed to supporting incoming PhD students in General Linguistics for up to five years, subject to satisfactory academic progress and available funding. Financial support may include Teaching Assistantships (TAs), Research Assistantships (RAs), or fellowships like the Top Scholar Award and Linguistics Award in Diversity Scholarship (LADS). Who Can Apply? Incoming PhD students in General Linguistics U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and international students Students who: Demonstrate diverse linguistic and life experiences (for LADS) Meet satisfactory academic standards Apply for external funding where possible What Is Covered?
