Program: Astronomy The Department of Astronomy at UW offers financial support primarily through teaching and research assistantships. Although funding is not guaranteed, all students making satisfactory academic progress have historically received support throughout the academic year. Additional funding sources include departmental awards and external fellowships. Who can apply? All admitted graduate students in the Department of Astronomy at the University of Washington. What is covered?
