The Purdue University Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) 2026 is an 11-week fully funded program for undergraduate students to conduct research under the guidance of faculty, graduate students, and postdoctoral mentors. The program runs from June 1 to August 7, 2026 at the West Lafayette or Indianapolis campus.
Who Can Apply?

Undergraduate students enrolled full-time in any university, both in the USA and internationally

Must have completed at least one semester/quarter before the application deadline

Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0 or equivalent
What Is Covered?

$6,500 stipend
-
$2,500 housing allowance with furnished accommodation

Travel reimbursement up to $1,000
