The International Max Planck Research School for Translational Psychiatry (IMPRS-TP) offers a fully funded PhD program focused on psychiatric, translational research, and basic neuroscience. This interdisciplinary program combines molecular, cellular, and clinical research, providing students with comprehensive training in neuroscience and psychiatry.    Who can apply?  Candidates holding a master’s degree or equivalent in relevant fields such as biology, neuroscience, medicine, psychology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines.   Medical doctors with laboratory experience are particularly encouraged to apply.   What is covered?  Full tuition waiver.    Monthly stipend.   Financial support for conference travel and research activities.    Travel expenses and accommodation for the interview, where applicable.  Access to advanced research facilities and training programs.   Eligibility criteria  Applicants must have completed their degree before the program start date (September–October 2026), but not necessarily at the time of application.   Strong academic record in relevant fields.   Proficiency in English; standardized test scores (e.g., TOEFL, IELTS) are recommended but not mandatory.   For the...
