The Department offers a guaranteed six-year funding package to all Ph.D. students in good academic standing. This support includes fellowships, teaching assistantships, health benefits, summer funding, and travel grants. Who Can Apply? Incoming Ph.D. students who are admitted to the department U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA recipients may also be eligible for Rackham Merit Fellowships Students from diverse academic, personal, and professional backgrounds are encouraged to apply What Is Covered?
