The Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania offers fully funded Ph.D. fellowships, supported by endowments from Walter and Leonore Annenberg. This funding package includes a stipend, full tuition, health insurance, and annual travel and research reimbursements for up to five years.  Who Can Apply?  All admitted doctoral students to the Annenberg School for Communication  Includes both international and domestic students  What is Covered?  Annual stipend of $42,745 (as of 2024–2025)  Full tuition and fees waiver  Health insurance premium under Penn’s Student Insurance Plan  Travel and research support up to $1,700/year  Dissertation Research Fellowship (DRF) in year 5: includes $42,745 stipend, tuition, insurance, and an additional $1,200 for research/travel  Eligibility Criteria  Must be a Ph.D. student at the Annenberg School  Must maintain good academic standing and make timely academic progress  Fifth-year funding contingent upon successful dissertation proposal defense  Continued eligibility for support based on active scholarship and course enrollment  How to Apply?  No separate application required for financial support — awarded automatically to all admitted students ...
