All accepted PhD applicants in Chemical Engineering at U-M are guaranteed full financial support (stipend, tuition, and health care) for at least five years, contingent on satisfactory academic progress. No separate financial aid application is required. Who Can Apply? All applicants to the PhD in Chemical Engineering program, regardless of whether they hold a BS or MS in chemical engineering. International and domestic students. What Is Covered? Full stipend Tuition Health insurance Funding is guaranteed for at least 5 years (subject to satisfactory progress). May come from university fellowships, research assistantships, or external sponsorships. Eligibility Criteria Admission into the PhD program. Continued satisfactory progress toward the PhD.
