Fully Funded 5-year Masters + Phd Scholarship at Keele University, Surf Program

The Sustainable Rural Futures (SURF) programme at Keele University is offering funded PhD and Masters+ scholarships to students exploring contemporary challenges facing UK rural communities. Research must align with at least two of the four SURF themes—Landscape, Land Use, Lifestyle, and Livelihood—and follow SURF’s core principles of “more-than-human” and community-led research. Applications are currently open for an October 2025 start.
