The University of Rochester International Student Summer Research Program 2026 is a fully funded, 2-month research opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students worldwide. Participants will conduct first-class research in chemistry and related scientific fields while gaining hands-on experience at a top U.S. university. No IELTS/TOEFL proof or application fee is required.

Who Can Apply?

• Undergraduate and Master’s students currently studying outside the U.S.

• Majors in chemistry or closely related fields (physics, biology, engineering, computer science, etc.)

• Students intending to pursue a PhD in chemistry in the U.S.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants from all countries are welcome

• Not currently enrolled in a PhD program

• Strong academic background in chemistry or related disciplines
