The OHCHR Minorities Fellowship 2026 is a 4–5 week fully funded training program in Geneva for human rights and minority rights defenders. Fellows gain a deeper understanding of the UN system for protecting and promoting international human and minority rights, with visits to other cities included.
Who Can Apply:

Human rights and minority rights defenders belonging to national, ethnic, linguistic, or religious minority groups

Candidates from all countries

No formal education required; relevant experience is accepted

Must be nominated by a minority organisation/community and return to apply the skills learned
