The German Academic Exchange Service offers the Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) scholarship program to support foreign graduates from development and newly industrialized countries. This initiative enables them to pursue postgraduate or master's degrees, and in exceptional cases, doctoral degrees, at state or state-recognized German universities. The program aims to train specialists who can contribute to the sustainable development of their home countries. Who can apply? Graduates with at least two years of professional experience from eligible developing and newly industrialized countries. A comprehensive list of eligible countries can be found here. What is covered? Monthly stipend of 992 Euros for master's students and 1,300 Euros for doctoral candidates. Payments towards health, accident, and personal liability insurance. Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding.
