The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship is a UK government-funded programme that supports citizens from eligible low- and middle-income Commonwealth countries to pursue part-time, online Master’s degrees from UK universities while remaining in their home countries. It is designed to build capacity in key areas aligned with the UK’s international development objectives. Who Can Apply? Applicants must be: Citizens of, or granted refugee status by, an eligible Commonwealth country or be a British Protected Person Permanently resident in a developing Commonwealth country Holding a first degree of at least Upper Second Class (2:1) standard. In some cases, a lower qualification with relevant experience may be accepted. Unable to afford to study the programme without a scholarship What Is Covered?
