Chongqing University’s 2025 Scholarship

The International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship at Chongqing University (CQU) offers financial support to outstanding international students and current Chinese language teachers who wish to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or non-degree Chinese language programs. The program is funded by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) to promote global Chinese language education.   Who Can Apply?  Non-Chinese citizens interested in studying International Chinese Language Education or Chinese Language and Literature  Current in-service Chinese language teachers  Applicants aiming for Bachelor’s, Master’s, one-year, or one-semester programs  What Is Covered?  Full tuition  On-campus accommodation or subsidy  Comprehensive medical insurance  Monthly living allowance:  RMB 2,500 for undergraduates, one-year, and one-semester programs  RMB 3,000 for master’s degree students  Note: CQU’s Master’s program is 3 years long, but only 2 years are funded by the scholarship.
