Australia Awards

The Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international scholarships offered by the Australian Government to support emerging leaders from eligible African countries in obtaining postgraduate qualifications in Australia. The program aims to build skills in agriculture, climate change, international security, gender inclusion, mining, and energy, empowering recipients to contribute to their home countries' development.  Who can apply?  Citizens of eligible African countries: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.  Mid-to-senior level professionals currently employed in a relevant field.  Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) but who do not already hold a Master’s degree.  Applicants from marginalized groups, women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.  What is covered?  Return air travel to and from Australia.  One-off establishment allowance upon arrival.  Full tuition fees.  Contribution to living expenses.  Introductory academic program.  Overseas student health cover for the duration of t...
