The Simonis Lab in the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Environment at Auburn University is recruiting graduate student(s) (PhD preferred) for a research project on seasonal pathogen dynamics and bat health at various field sites in Alabama, including highway culverts. Who Can Apply? Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in biology or a wildlife-related field Applicants must meet Auburn University’s Graduate School and CFWE admission requirements Highly motivated MS applicants will also be considered, but a PhD student is preferred What Is Covered? PhD students: $26,500/year + benefits MS students: $23,500/year + benefits Eligibility Criteria Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field Ability to work independently and in teams Motivation and professionalism Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) Preferred: MS degree (if applying for PhD) Bat/wildlife handling and sampling experience Quantitative/statistical skills (e.g., R) Fieldwork, lab, or technical experience How to Apply?
