The AfOx Visiting Fellowship Programme supports exceptional African researchers in forming international collaborations with Oxford University scholars. It offers a flexible 12-month fellowship—10 months virtual and 2 months in-person at Oxford during Trinity term (May–June)—for independent or partnered research in any discipline, with a special track for equitable healthcare access.  Who Can Apply?  Researchers based in African institutions  Those who have identified a University of Oxford collaborator  Particularly encouraged: female and underrepresented researchers  What is Covered?  Virtual affiliation with an Oxford department and college for 10 months  Two-month fully funded in-person stay at Oxford  Access to Oxford’s academic, library, and research resources  Networking and capacity-building opportunities  Fellowship support aligned with AfOx’s funding partners  Eligibility Criteria  Must be based in an African institution  Must have a named collaborator at the University of Oxford  For applicants under the equitable healthcare access stream, the project must be relevant to healthcare access in low- and middle-income countries  Applications should align with AfOx partnership themes (as listed ...
